Kennedy Space Center's newest Mars Rover introduced the concept to the public together with the pageant Mars Festival in Florida, USA. This concept vehicle is much different with the Lunar Rover used the astronauts to explore the moon.
Has a form similar to SUVS for off-road with weights 2,721 Kilograms and height 3.3 meters, capable of carrying four astronauts. Rover concept is also specially designed to cope with extreme terrain, equipped with suspension and weight class 6 wheel measuring 50 inches with special design to explore the desert planet Mars that has very fine sand.
Not just Mars Rover to roam, is also equipped with solar panels, which could make it into the lab running. NASA is indeed not yet divulge its technical details.
But they say, Rover was able to explore the Planet Mars with a maximum speed of 112 km/h, though usually the Rover will run in between the speed 16 – 24 km/h only
