"Memoji" is practically AR Emoji. Users may create emoji animations from their own characters. It's just that Apple provides many options for us to personalize the emoji animated characters that we make.
Not only skin color and hair, users can add accessories such as glasses, hats and others. Users can add other animoji when creating a memoji. Moreover, both Animoji and Memoji can be used when making video calls.
The Memoji feature is available on iOS 12 along with four new Animoji characters, koalas, ghosts, tigers and T-Rex. Of course all these features can only be enjoyed by users of iPhone X.
